The one day Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 is the most popular HSE compliant first aid course. This basic emergency first aid one day qualification for the the workplace contains all the vital skills to save lives and treat basic injuries and illness.
This course is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace.
Upon successful completion of this qualification candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations.

- Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- HSE legislation and accident forms
- Assessing and incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR
- AED operation
- Recovery position
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries including minor burns and scalds.
This first aid qualification is valid for three years. As stated by the HSE it is highly recommended that first aiders sit an annual 3 hour refresher to maintain these first aid skills.
